Logan Wesley Hodge
1987-2018

Logan and I began working on this song, a cover of the ending theme to Xenogears, about a month after our friend James Laurence's death in 2017. What started as a way for us to honor and grieve for our friend has now sadly become our final collaboration. Logan sang his heart out for James, and I only wish I could have finished this while Logan was around to hear it. I'll always regret that.

Revisiting this song in the wake of Logan's death was painful. It also gave me comfort to hear his voice and to have another chance to honor our friendship, and appreciate his artistry, and his big, loving heart. I'd imagine that anyone who knew Logan might have similar feelings.

To everyone who loved Logan, I offer this song in the hopes that it brings some amount of comfort and peace.
